THE SOLAR WIND COMPOSITION EXPERIMENT (SWCE)
A third experiment, a Solar Wind Composition Experiment (SWCE), was provided by scientists from Switzerland. It was deployed and returned to Earth by the crew for analysis. The aluminum foil panel, similar to household foil, collected atomic particles released by the Sun into space. After the mission, scientists in Switzerland analyzed the exposed foil, an indication of the world-wide participation in the Apollo program.

STEREO CLOSE-UP CAMERA
Next to Aldrin's suit is a stereo close-up camera. Placed on the soil as shown, it took stereo photographs of the lunar surface.
