LM2 is completely unique from any other
object in the collection at the National Air and Space Museum
in that it is the only manned vehicle designed to fly in the
vacuum of space. There are no wings, no rounded fuselage.
In fact, only the reaction control nozzles have any aerodynamic
shape to them. Essentially, LM2 is our only true spaceship.
