Gemini-Titan II Launch Vehicle
Used in the Gemini Program to boost the 2-man Gemini spacecraft into Earth orbit. Ten manned missions were flown.
The Gemini-Titan II was developed from the U.S. Air Force Titan II Intercontinental Ballistic Missile.
  • Height (with spacecraft): 33 meters (108 feet)
  • Thrust at lift off: 193,500 kilograms (430,000 pounds)
Harmonica and Bells
Walter Schirra and Thomas Stafford played "Jingle Bells" on these musical instruments during a broadcast to Earth near Christmastime 1965, on the Gemini 6 mission.
