FIRST LIVE TELEVISION FROM SPACE
This black-and-white television camera was carried on the flight of Apollo 7, Oct. 11-22, 1968, and was used during the first live telecast from space. Apollo 7 astronauts Walter A. Schirra, Donn R. Eisele, and Walter Cunningham, gave several press conferences from earth orbit during the flight. Apollo 7 was the first piloted Apollo flight.
